Born in 1991, Rémi Schwartz studied percussion at the Haute École des arts du Rhin with Emmanuel Séjourné, Stéphane Fougeroux, and Denis Riedinger. He was awarded two international First Prizes (PAS Italy in 2010 and ConUco Cordoba in 2013), as well as the prize from the City of Strasbourg in 2011. He performs as a soloist with several ensembles and orchestras such as the Cordoba Symphony, the Philharmonique de Strasbourg, and the Ukho Ensemble. Co-founder of the Baka Trio, he performs throughout France, offering unique creations designed for young audiences (performances, workshops, music classes, film-concerts). Strongly committed to education, he is a state-qualified percussion teacher and devotes an important part of his projects to transmission.
