Jesper Nordin's music (which has strong influences from traditional Swedish folk music, rock, and improvised music) is played all over the world under the baton of conductors such as Esa-Pekka Salonen, Daniel Harding, and Kent Nagano and by musicians such as Martin Fröst, Jean Geoffroy, and Diego Tosi. His orchestral works have been performed and/or commissioned by the Philharmonia Orchestra, the hr-sinfonieorchester, the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic and the Swedish and Finnish radio symphony orchestras. It is in the repertoire of specialized ensembles: recherche, intercontemporain, Talea, Quatuor Diotima... Its iOS applications Gestrument and ScaleGen are used by professionals and amateurs to create in all musical styles.
