Finnish director Jenny Jokela spent most of her graduate studies and career in the UK. Her film Barbeque, with which she obtained her Master of Arts from the Royal College of Art in 2017, won numerous awards including the Crystal Award at the Annecy Film Festival in 2018. Since then, Jenny has been directing and hosting the Finnish children's TV show Hoppsorna. Her colorful and expressive personal universe allows her to explore various ways of visualizing the invisible, starting with feelings and emotions related to sexuality and trauma.
