Following a career in science, Fabien Bourlier devoted himself to electronic music. He studied at the Laboratoire d'Acoustique in the université du Maine (Le Mans), and obtained a master's degree in sound design from the École supérieure des beaux-arts de Mans, in partnership with IRCAM.
Producing for two independent labels, in Austria and Serbia, he recorded several personal projects (Madmind, Murmura, Foshan) and composed music for the image. As a sound designer, he works on installation projects and interactive sound design as well as on the conception of generative music applications and the creation of sounds for video games.
Co-founder of the aaio collective, he likes to experiment and tell stories in which the listeners bring the sound material to life.
