The sonic component of Italian composer Claudia Jane Scroccaro's work is a reflection of in her profound interest in electronic and oral-tradition music. Her creative approach explores a musical dramaturgy that slides between a human listening experience and microphonic projections of the dynamic properties of sound in multidimensional spaces.
She studied composition and electronic music with Marco Stroppa at the HMDK in Stuttgart, and at the same time pursued further training with Philippe Leroux and Franck Bedrossian. Her music has been performed in Germany, France, Italy, Lithuania, and the United States.
